Israeli Soldier Shoots, Kills Palestinian Man Near Bethlehem

Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Monday, a Palestinian young man after he allegedly attempted a stabbing, at the Etzion junction, south of Bethlehem in the southern occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health..

The young man, identified as Faleh Musa Shaker Jaradat, from Sa’ir town, northwest of Hebron in the southern West Bank, was shot by a soldier when he allegedly attempted to stab a soldier.

The army spokesman stated that the man got out of a vehicle at the junction, allegedly carrying a knife, and proceeded to try to stab a soldier, before the soldier shot him, the Jerusalem Post reported.

No soldiers were injured in the incident.
