Army Shoots and Kills Palestinian Man Near Bethlehem in Alleged Stabbing Attempt

A Palestinian man was shot dead, Thursday, after he allegedly injured four Israeli settlers on a bus, near the illegal Gush Etzion colonial bloc, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian News & Information Agency (WAFA) reported.

WAFA correspondent confirmed that Israeli forces was shot and killed by Israeli forces after he allegedly stabbed four illegal colonial settlers, injuring one seriously.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the identity of the slain young man as; Nidal Juma‘a Ja‘afra, 30, from Tarqumiyah town in the southern West Bank governorate of Hebron. No further information was available at the time of this report.

In related news, Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians including a seventeen-year-old after storming the northern West Bank city of Jenin.

Furthermore, the army detained thirty Palestinian civilians including former prisoners from several parts of the occupied West Bank.
