Witnesses stated that a large military force stormed the area, surrounded the vehicle, and blocked medical staff from treating the victims.

The slain young men were identified as; Saeb Abahra, 30, Khalil Tawalbeh, 24, both from Jenin, in addition to Saif Abu Libdeh, 25, from Tulkarem governorate in the northern West Bank.
The Israeli army announced the injury of four soldiers in the Al-Yamam Special Unit in the operation which killed the three young Palestinians.
Y-Net News reported that one soldier was. critically injured, while one was moderately wounded and two slightly wounded. No further details were available at the time of this report.

The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that the army detained the bodies of the slain young men and confiscated the bullet ridden vehicle.
