Israeli municipality officials delivered, on Tuesday, demolition orders targeting the home of Palestinian Fadi Elayyan, in the al-‘Isawiya neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem, according to a local activist.
Mohammad Abu al-Hummus, a Palestinian activist, stated that Israeli municipality entered the neighborhood and handed the family a demolition order for the home in addition to a canopy and horse stable.
The authorities took photos of the family home in order to plan for the impending destruction of the property.
In related news, Israeli forces ordered, on Tuesday, a Palestinian stop work orders against his home in the village of Fasayil, north of Jericho in the northeastern occupied West Bank, according to a local official.
Ibrahim Ebayyat, the village mayor, stated that the occupation army handed the homeowner, Sanad Nuwara, an order to stop the construction of his home.
According to Article 17 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
1. Everyone has the right to own property alone as well as in association with others.
2. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.
