Israeli forces shot dead, on Saturday, one Palestinian young man and injured 13 others in the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin, the Ministry of Health confirmed.
The army invaded Jenin city and the Jenin refugee camp causing armed Palestinian resistance fighters to confront the occupation soldiers.
The invading army opened fire at the armed resistance fighters, killing one young man, identified as; Ahmad Nasser Al-Saadi, 21, from the Jenin refugee camp after shooting him twice with live rounds in the head and chest.
The army shot and injured 13 others, two of whom, including a 19-year-old female, were struck in the abdomen with live rounds, both were admitted to hospital for surgery, in addition to one person who was struck in the head with shrapnel. The remaining wounded were deemed stable.
The family of the slain young man and residents of Jenin held the funeral procession beginning at the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital, marching to the family home, performing the funeral prayer at the mosque in the refugee camp and finally laid the body to rest at the refugee camp cemetery.
