Israeli occupation forces detained, at dawn Sunday and on Saturday, several Palestinian civilians in addition to shooting a number of others, according to local sources.
At dawn Sunday, occupation forces opened fire at Palestinian workers attempting to cross into Israel through the Apartheid wall in Tulkarem, in the northern occupied West Bank, shooting one young man before detaining him.
The army shot Ahmed Muhammad Atatreh from the village of Zabouba, west of Jenin, in the northern part of the West Bank, striking him in the foot, and then proceeded to detain him, while he was on his way to his place of work inside Israel.
Occupation soldiers assaulted, on Sunday morning, Fawaz Sharheh from the Bab Al-Amoud (Damascus Gate) area in the Old City of Jerusalem, and proceeded to detain him.
At dawn Sunday, Israeli troops detained five Palestinian young men from various parts of the occupied West Bank.
From Tuqu town, east of Bethlehem city, in the southern part of the West Bank. soldiers detained a minor, identified as Muhammad Abdullah Al-Amour.
Meanwhile, soldiers detained Jasser Muntasir Abu Al-Hayt from Nablus city in the northern West Bank, and Khaled Muhammad Sidr from Al-Biereh in the central part of the West Bank after invading and searching his family home.
Additionally, the army stormed the Qalandia refugee camp north of occupied Jerusalem and detained Amir al-Saqa and Omar Adwan.
Furthermore, Israeli occupation soldiers shot, on Sunday at dawn, two additional Palestinian workers as they tried to cross the Apartheid Wall west of Tulkarem in the northern West Bank.
The two injured young men were on their way to their places of work inside Israel when soldiers positioned west of Tulkarem opened fire with live rounds at them, striking one in the foot, while the other was hit with shrapnel in the leg.
Both young men, from Bala’a town, east of Tulkarem, were transferred to Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem with moderate injuries, according to medical sources.
Israeli forces stormed, on Saturday, the Qalandia refugee camp, north of Jerusalem, and detained two former Palestinian prisoners after invading and searching their homes.
During the incursion int the refugee camp, soldiers fired tear gas canisters and concussion grenades before detaining two Palestinian men, identified as Ezzat Hazin and Khalil Nasser, both former prisoners.
In related news, the occupation army invaded Tuqu town, southeast of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank, and fired live rounds, concussion grenades and tear gas canisters at Palestinian-owned homes, causing many inhalation injuries.
