Israeli Forces Detain Ten Palestinians from the West Bank and Gaza


Israeli forces detained, on Wednesday night and dawn Thursday, ten Palestinian civilians, including a child from the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip, according to local sources.

Israeli soldiers detained a Palestinian journalist identified as Ayman Qawariq, 36, a resident of Awarta village, southeast of Nablus in the northern West Bank while he attempted to pass through the Qalandia military roadblock, located north of occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli soldiers detained a 14-year-old child from Anata town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, whose identity was not known at the time of this report. The child was detained from the Salaheddin Road in Jerusalem.

On Thursday evening, Israeli forces detained a young man identified as Khalaf Muhammad Abayat, from Kisan village, east of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank while he was grazing his sheep, according to Hassan Breijieh, the director of the Bethlehem Office of the Resistance of the Wall and Settlement Authority.

On Wednesday night, Israeli soldiers detained a Palestinian merchant from the Gaza Strip, identified as Ahmed Jawdat Al-Dalou, as he tried to the Beit Hanoun (Erez) checkpoint in the northern besieged Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday night, soldiers detained a Palestinian young man who is a resident of Jenin, in the northern West Bank, from the Al-Jalama military roadblock, northeast of Jenin.

Muntaser Sammour, the director of the Jenin Palestinian Prisoners’ Society stated that Israeli soldiers detained a former prisoner from Qabatiya town south of Jenin, identified as Muhammad Adel Abu Mualla as he attempted to pass through the Dotan military roadblock, southwest of Jenin.

the army invaded and searched, at dawn Thursday, the homes of two young men from Qalqilia, identified as Thabet Thabet and Wissam Ezz El-Din Salmi, before detaining them.

Finally, Israeli occupation forces detained, on Thursday, an unidentified resident of Halhul town, north of Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank.

The young man, identified as Saber Muhammad Al-Zama’ra, while he was in the Bab Al-Amoud area, one of the main gates leading to the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.
