Occupation Forces Detain Several Palestinians from the West Bank, Shoot and Injure Two

Israeli forces detained, on Friday and Saturday, several Palestinian civilians an, including children, and shot four with live rounds in various parts of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.

Occupation forces stormed Zababdeh town, southeast of Jenin in the northern part of the West Bank, triggering Palestinian youths to confront the invading military force.

The occupation army shot two young men with live rounds, one of whom was struck in the hand and the other in the shoulder, their conditions were not known at the time of this report.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli forces shot and killed Yahya Ali Adwan, 27, from Azzun town, east of Qalqilia in the northern West Bank, with a live round to the heart, and shot two more after the funeral procession, causing moderate wounds.

On Saturday, the army detained two young residents of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, identified as Ahmed Faleh Zakarneh and Muhammad Walid Zakarneh, while they attempted to pass through a flying military roadblock near Tubas in the northeastern West Bank.

On Saturday evening, Israeli soldiers invaded Qarawat Bani Hassan town, west of Salfit, in the central West Bank and detained seven Palestinian civilians, including children.

The army invaded and searched the home of Samih Assi, assaulted his son Youssef, who is a former prisoner before detaining them, in addition to Samih’s two teenaged sons Amir, 16, and Bilal, 15, according to the Mayor of the town.

Three more Palestinian civilians, identified as Mohammed Marei and his two sons, Yehia, 20, and Muntasir, were detained from the town, after their home was invaded and searched.

Local youths confronted the invading military force, which triggered soldiers to fire rubber-coated steel rounds, concussion grenades, and tear gas canisters. There were no reports of injuries.

Another former prisoner, identified as Noureddine Al-Shalabi, a resident of Jenin, was detained by Israeli forces as he tried to pass through a military roadblock near Masliya town, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

On Friday night, soldiers detained two Palestinian citizens of Bethlehem as they returned from praying at the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem. The young men were identified as Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, 37, a former prisoner, in addition to Hussein Suleiman Abu Jalgaif, 25.

Israeli forces detained, at dawn Friday, at least ten young men from the Qalandia military roadblock, north of Jerusalem, as they headed home after performing prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

At dawn Friday, Israeli soldiers detained Bara’a Riad Barnat, 22, from the village of Bil’in, west of Ramallah in the central West Bank, after storming and searching his home.

The army invaded, at dawn Friday, the town of Illar, north of Tulkarem in the northern part of the West Bank, stormed the home of former prisoner Nazir Muhammad Ahmad Nassar, 51, before detaining him.
