Israeli Forces Detain 12 Palestinian Civilians from the Occupied West Bank

Israeli forces detained, on Wednesday, at least twelve Palestinian civilians from various parts of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

Two Palestinian civilians were detained, on Wednesday, by occupation forces who invaded the Jenin refugee camp, in the northern West Bank, positioning snipers on rooftops and flying reconnaissance aircraft over the vicinity.

One young man, identified as Osaid Turkman was detained by the Israeli army after they invaded and searched his family home in the camp, west of Jenin, which led to protests by Palestinian youths.

In Al-Yamoun town, northwest of Jenin, soldiers invaded and searched the home of Warad Muhammad Smoudi, before detaining him and taking him to an unknown location.

Soldiers also stormed Tel village, southwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank, and detained Muhammad Jihad Mahmoud Yamin, 18, from his family home.

In the northern West Bank town of Huwara, south of Nablus, occupation forces detained three Palestinian young men after soldiers, along with illegal colonists assaulted one of them.

The three young men were identified as Miqdad al-Sheikh Samer Awad, Jamil Nimr, and Qusai al-Fakhouric. The health condition of Awad, who was assaulted, was not known at the time of this report.

Also in the northern part of the West Bank, soldiers invaded Rafat town, west of Salfit, storming and searching the home of Uday Radwan Ayyash before detaining him.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli soldiers detained three Palestinian young men from the Bethlehem governorate.

Soldiers invaded Al-Khader town, west of Bethlehem, and detained Issa Khader Abdullah, 22, after invading and searching his family home.

East of Bethlehem, in Harmala village, the army detained Muhammad Awad Atallah, 20, and Ayoub Samih Muhammad, 18, after their homes were broken into and ransacked.

In the Hebron governorate, also in the southern part of the West Bank, soldiers detained two more Palestinian civilians.

From Hebron city, soldiers detained Muhammad Salhab Al-Tamimi, and Ayman Abu Arqoub from Samou’ town, south of the city.
