Israeli forces detained, on Monday, several Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank, and one citizen was detained by Israeli police inside of Israel, according to local sources.
Israeli police detained a Palestinian resident of the Jenin refugee camp, identified as Tariq Ziyad Abu Tabikh, while he was in Nazareth city, in the northern part of Israel.
Undercover Israeli agents, known as the “Musta’ribeen” abducted a Palestinian civilian while he was near Nablus city in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.
The kidnapped young man was identified as Hammam Fathi Khazem, 27, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.
Israeli forces invaded Rummanah village, northwest of Jenin in the northern West Bank and detained a Palestinian young man identified as Hamza Hani Amour.
The army stormed Zababdeh town, southeast of Jenin, triggering fierce resistance from local youths who threw rocks and molotov cocktails at the invading army vehicles.
Israeli forces shot and injured one young man with a rubber-coated steel round, and detained another young man identified as Ahmed Qassem Kaabiya.
Still in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the home of Kamal Mahmoud Abu Arab in the Balata refugee camp, in Nablus city, before detaining him.
In the central West Bank village of Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah city, Israeli soldiers shot an unidentified Palestinian young man with live rounds before detaining him.
The young man’s condition was unknown at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, also in the Ramallah governorate, occupation soldiers detained four more young men, identified as Muhammad Jamal Al-Khawaja, Qusai Abdo, Raed Muhammad Abu Bakr, and Abdullah Al-Lulu.
Occupation forces detained for a short time, three Palestinian boys, all aged 15, from Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, before releasing them.
The three were identified as Qusai Muhammad Hamid, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Hamid, and Sobhi Yousef Hamid as they were leaving their school.
Furthermore, Israeli troops detained two young men from the Bethlehem governorate in the southern occupied West Bank.
A former prisoner identified as Nour El-Din Ibrahim Al-Herimi, was detained from Harmala village, southeast of the city, while Ihab Khaled Sabah was detained from Tuqu’ town, south of the city.
Finally, occupation forces detained a Palestinian child, identified as Farhat Nader Al-Rajabi, 14, from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
During its suppression of a protest on Monday evening, Israeli soldiers assaulted demonstrators who marched in support of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron and other holy sites.
Soldiers attacked civilians and journalists, removed Palestinian flags, and detained one young man, identified as Saed Sidr.
Meanwhile, soldiers assaulted and verbally abused a Palestinian young lady who holds US citizenship, forcing her out of the area near the Ibrahimi Mosque.
