Israeli forces detained, on Tuesday, at least 26 Palestinian civilians from the occupied West Bank, in addition to the besieged Gaza Strip, local sources reported.
On Tuesday night, the Israeli Navy detained two Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, and seized their fishing boat.
The two men were identified as Amin Saud Hassouna and Mahmoud Muhammad Hassouna.
In the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers invaded Jaba’ village, south of Jenin city, and set up a military roadblock at the entrance to the village.
The army stormed and searched, on Tuesday, the home of a former prisoner, identified as Murad Malaysha, while snipers occupied rooftops of civilian homes.
Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the invading army, and local youths protested the invasion, no injuries or detentions were reported.
Meanwhile, a large military force stormed the Jenin refugee camp, set up roadblocks, and employed snipers on the rooftops of civilian homes, and opened fire with live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds, and tear gas canisters.
Soldiers fired a number of rocket propelled grenades at a civilian home, in an attempt to force a young man to surrender. It was added that Palestinian resistance fighters exchanged fire with the army. No injuries were reported.
Occupation forces detained a former prisoner, identified as Muhammad al-Tubasi Abu al-Oud, after ransacking his home, and later withdrew.
In the northern West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli forces detained, for a number of hours, three members of the Bashkar family, while keeping a fourth in their custody.
Soldiers took Islam Bashkar into their custody, while they temporarily detained his family members, identified as Anan Bashkar (a former prisoner), Sohaib Bashkar, and Shadi Bashkar.
From the village of Burqa, northwest of Nablus city, soldiers assaulted and detained a Palestinian young man, identified as Rayan Mamoun Abu Omar.
In Jericho, in the eastern part of the West Bank, the army invaded the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, located southwest of the city, and detained a Palestinian youth identified as Jibril Kamal.
Local youths protested the military incursion, throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails at the invading armored vehicles.
Israeli troops invaded the home of Khaled Walid Abu Fakhida in Ras Karkar village, northwest of Ramallah in the central West Bank, before detaining him.
In Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, Israeli soldiers detained 8 unidentified Palestinian high school students, ranging in ages between 14 and 16 years.
Meanwhile, soldiers stormed and searched the family home of a Palestinian minor, identified as Omar Salah, 16, from Abu Dis town, east of occupied Jerusalem, before detaining him.
Near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of occupied Jerusalem, soldiers detained an elderly Palestinian man, identified as Abu Bakr Al-Shimy.
Another unidentified young man was detained after being assaulted by Israeli forces near a light rail station in Jerusalem.
While documenting the Israeli forces’ incursion into the Al-‘Isawiya neighborhood of Jerusalem, soldiers detained Palestinian activist Muhammad Abu al-Hummus, and confiscated a Palestinian flag from his vehicle.
Four Palestinian civilians were detained by the Israeli army, from Harmala village, southeast of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank.
Soldiers stormed and inspected the family homes of Abd al-Rahman Musa al-Zir, 17, Ibrahim Wajih Sabah, 23, Yahya Wajih al-Zir, 20, and Adel Abdul Rahman Atallah, 24, before detaining them.
Lastly, in the Hebron governorate in the southern West Bank, soldiers shot and injured one young man, and detained 3 more.
A large military force, present on Al-Shallala Street in the Old City, on Tuesday evening, opened fire with live rounds at Palestinian youths, shooting and injuring one with a live round to the foot.
Palestinian Red Crescent medics transferred the wounded young man to a local hospital for further medical intervention.
From elsewhere in the governorate, soldiers invaded and searched civilian homes, before detaining a former prisoner identified as Taqi Al-Din Al-Hour from Surif town, northwest of Hebron.
Soldiers detained two more young men from the Hebron governorate, identified as Yahya Saeed Jaber and Nour Ibrahim Shaheen Ghaith.
