Settlers March at Damascus Gate
It is important to note that the occupation police provided full protection for the illegal Israeli settlers who attacked Palestinians, however they assaulted and detained the Palestinians on arbitrary grounds.
Israeli colonists who stormed the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque were joined by Itamar Ben Gvir, a fanatic zionist extremist and Knesset member.
Settlers provoked worshipers by insulting the Muslim prophet Muhammad (pbuh), chanted “Death to Arabs” and rejoiced the murder of veteran journalist Sherine Abu Aqleh who was shot in the head by Israeli forces on May 11, 2022 near Jenin.
Many Palestinians were assaulted by illegal colonial settlers, including press crews and an elderly woman who was kicked and pepper-sprayed in the face.
