Seventeen Year Old Palestinian Shot and Killed by Israeli Forces Near Ramallah


Israeli soldiers shot and killed, on Thursday evening, a Palestinian teen in Al-Midya village, west of Ramallah in the central occupied West Bank, the Ministry of Health confirmed.

Sources stated that the teen was with other youths near the Apartheid wall, built on Palestinian lands, when soldiers opened fire with live rounds, striking Odeh Muhammad Odeh Sadaqa, 17, in the chest.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the minor was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah city, with life-threatening wounds inflicted by the occupation army.

After attempts to resuscitate the child, he succumbed to his wounds, doctors pronounced him dead shortly after arrival to the hospital.

Over the past 24 hours, 4 Palestinians have been shot and killed with live rounds in the chest by Israeli occupation forces, despite the fact that none of these victims posed a direct threat to the safety of soldiers.

Every incident points to the excessive use of force by the Israeli military.

Occupation forces shot and killed 29-year-old former prisoner, Ayman Mahmoud Muhaisen, in the chest with live rounds, on Thursday at dawn, in the Dheisheh refugee camp southwest of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.

On Wednesday evening, soldiers shot and killed Bilal Kabaha, 24, with live rounds to the chest and thigh, in Ya’bad town, west of Jenin city in the northern occupied West Bank.

Furthermore, on Wednesday afternoon, Israeli forces shot and killed Ghofran Warasnah, 31, with a live round in the chest at the entrance to the al-Arroub refugee camp north of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
