Israeli Army Detains Several Palestinians, Injures Four in the West Bank

Israeli forces detained, on Monday night and Tuesday, several Palestinian civilians from across the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.

On Monday night, Israeli soldiers detained three young men while they were in their vehicle in the Amrha area of Ya’bad town, west of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

Occupation forces detained three citizens of Qabatiya town, south of Jenin, identified as Rabie Fadel Zakarneh, Yazan Abdullah Zakarneh, and Adham Samir Zakarneh.

Meanwhile, soldiers detained, Monday evening, two brothers, including a child, while they were in the Aida refugee camp, northwest of Bethlehem in the southern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to Abdullah Al-Zaghari, the Director General of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS), said that occupation forces detained two citizens of the al-Azza (Beit Jibrin) refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, identified as Khaled Mazen Al-Azza, 20, and Adam Al-Azza, 12.

On Tuesday, soldiers detained a Palestinian citizen of the Jenin refugee camp, while he was traveling to Jordan for medical treatment.

According to Montaser Sammour, the Jenin director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) stated that soldiers detained Mutassim Ali Barakat Dbaya, 33, on the King Hussein Bridge between the West Bank and Jordan.

Meanwhile, soldiers invaded the home of Muhammad Hassan Khalaf, 32, in Tulkarem, in the northern West Bank, before detaining him, according to the Tulkarem PPS.

At dawn Tuesday, occupation forces stormed various neighborhoods in the Nablus governorate and detained three Palestinian men.

The detainees were identified as Amid Hijazi, pharmacist Omar al-Hanbali, and Dr. Mustafa al-Shannar, a lecturer at An-Najah National University.

Furthermore, occupation forces invaded the Al-Fara’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northern West Bank, detained two and shot four young men.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, the director of the Tubas PPS, soldiers invaded the refugee camp, and detained Mahmoud Nazmi Abu Al-Hassan and Obeida Jabr Abu Al-Hassan.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) stated that the army shot four young men with live ammunition, including one who was shot in the head.

He was taken to the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin for medical intervention. The condition of the young man was not known at the time of this report.

The PRCS added that the other three injured men were shot with live rounds and were transferred to the Turkish Governmental Hospital in Tubas for treatment.

In the following video, it appears that the injured young man was shot in the abdomen.

In the central part of the occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers stormed the Al-Amari refugee camp, east of Ramallah, and detained Hamada Nabil Hammad, 34, after breaking into his home.

Furthermore, in the vicinity of the Ofer prison, west of Ramallah, soldiers detained two unidentified Palestinian civilians.

Finally, the army invaded the southern West Bank town of Jannatah, south of Bethlehem, stormed several homes, and detained five unidentified young men, one of whom is a former prisoner.
