Palestine 10-8-2022 [WAFA] – Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers continued their aggression against our people, their sanctities and their properties, as a citizen died from his injury during the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza, and a number of citizens were injured in confrontations in Hebron, Bethlehem and Tulkarm, and the occupation forces arrested 11 citizens of the West Bank, and issued a decision to demolish a school east of Ramallah, and settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque.

A martyr succumbed to his wounds during the aggression on Gaza and injuries in the West Bank

  • Medical sources announced the death of Ibrahim Shehda Abu Salah, as a result of his injuries during the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of martyrs of the last aggression to 47, including a number of children and women, in addition to more than 360 wounded of varying degrees.
  • In the northern governorates, a number of citizens were injured during clashes in Bethlehem, Hebron and Tulkarm, where a boy was shot by the Israeli occupation forces during clashes in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in the center of Hebron city, during which the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, metal bullets and tear gas canisters towards the citizens, which led to the injury A 15-year-old boy with a live bullet to the foot was taken to Hebron Governmental Hospital, and his injuries were described as moderate.
  • A number of citizens were also injured by tear gas, during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tekoa, southeast of Bethlehem, and concentrated in the Khirbet Tekoua area at the western entrance, where the occupation soldiers fired bullets and tear gas canisters, causing dozens of suffocation.
  • Dozens of civilians were also injured by tear gas suffocation, during confrontations with the occupation forces near the Israeli “Jishuri” chemical factories, west of Tulkarm.

The occupation arrests 11 citizens from across the West Bank

The occupation forces arrested 11 citizens from all over the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, where they arrested five citizens from Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, they are: Karam Sami Al-Naasan (25 years), Ahmed Noaman Abu Naim (18 years), and Fadel Hamed Abu Alia (55 years). ), from the village of Al-Mughir, northeast of Ramallah, and Muhammad Ali Zayed from the village of Deir Jarir, east of the city, and Marwan Raed Abdul Majeed (18 years), at the entrance to the village of Aboud northwest of Ramallah.

The forces also arrested Razi Ghassan Saqr Alawneh and Abbas Ahmed Khaliliah from the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin, at a military checkpoint near Ramallah. The occupation forces, stationed at the “Container” checkpoint near Bethlehem, arrested Firas Ahmed Hassan (47 years), after removing him from his vehicle.

The occupation authorities deported the Jerusalemite, Saleh al-Fakhouri, from the Old City of occupied Jerusalem for 45 days, with a fine of 1,000 shekels, and a written fine of 5,000 shekels.

The occupation forces arrested two young men from Jenin refugee camp, and from the town of Jaba’, south of Jenin: Saddam Jamal Abu Sariya and Omar Sharif Khaliliya.

The Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the city of Tubas after summoning him for an interview. The director of the Prisoners Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, said that the occupation arrested the freed prisoner, Hakim Ahmed Fuqaha (26 years), after summoning him for an interview in the morning.

Demolition of facilities in Jericho, Jerusalem and Bethlehem, and a decision to demolish a school near Ramallah

  • The Israeli occupation forces demolished a house and notified the demolition of 4 others in Jericho. They also demolished a timber shop in Husan, west of Bethlehem, and swept the floor of a house under construction in Shuafat refugee camp. and a truck south of Hebron, and forced a Jerusalemite to demolish his house.
  • In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation mechanisms demolished part of a house under construction in Shuafat camp, northeast of the city, owned by the Hammoud family, under the pretext of building without a permit.
  • The occupation authorities also forced a citizen to demolish his house in occupied Jerusalem. According to local sources, the occupation municipality forced Munir Al-Rajabi to demolish his house in the Ashqarya neighborhood in Beit Hanina, under the pretext of building without a permit.
  • In the Bethlehem Governorate, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished a timber shop in Husan village, west of Bethlehem, belonging to Mahmoud Ahmed Hassan Sabateen, under the pretext of not having a license.
  • In the governorate of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, the occupation authorities demolished a house and a sheep barn in the village of Al-Auja, and notified the demolition of 4 residential barracks in the Al-Wad Al-Ahmar area near Fasayel, north of the city of Jericho.
  • They demolished brick and tin house, in which Suleiman Jahalin and his family lived, also demolished a sheep pen, and notified the demolition of four homes belonging to the families of: Awwad Suleiman Mleihat, Ismail Sawarka, Ibrahim Abu Arouj, and Suleiman Kaabneh.
  • In the Hebron governorate, the occupation forces seized a “bager” and a truck, while working to reclaim lands in the “Khashm al-Daraj” area, south of Hebron governorate.
  • The Occupation Court also issued a decision to immediately demolish the Ein Samiya School, east of Ramallah, which was built on land donated by a citizen from the town of Kafr Malik.

The school was inaugurated in the middle of last January, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, and with European funding through one of the international institutions operating in Palestine.

Settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque

  • Settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron.

The Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem reported that the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed incursions by successive groups of settlers from the Mughrabi Gate, during which they performed Talmudic rituals, carried out provocative tours and listened to explanations about their alleged temple.

  • Hundreds of settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, stormed the plazas of the Ibrahimi Mosque and held provocative and noisy parties there.

The director of the Ibrahimi Mosque, Ghassan al-Rajabi, told “Wafa” that large numbers of settlers, with the protection of the occupation forces, launched a provocative march from the “Beit Hadassah” settlement outpost in the center of Hebron city, towards the Ibrahimi Mosque, where they stormed the outer courtyards of the campus and held a party. Noisy, during which they raised the flags of the occupation and chanted racist slogans against the citizens.
