Israeli Forces Kill One Palestinian, Injure Three Others, in Jenin

Another Palestinian young man was shot and killed, late Thursday night, and three others were injured, during an Israeli army incursion into the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin, local sources reported.

Israeli soldiers invaded Jenin city, stormed a number of buildings, destroyed motorcycles and a memorial for another slain Palestinian young man who was killed by occupation forces.

The army detained Baraa Kifah Alawneh, after breaking into his home, and deployed sharpshooters on the rooftops of civilian homes during the incursion as several Palestinian youths resisted the invasion.

Soldiers opened fire with live ammunition at the youths, shooting and injuring four, one of whom was shot in the neck and deemed in critical condition.

The funeral procession began at the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital, where mourners carried the body of the martyr to the young man’s family home in the eastern part of the city where his family paid their final respects.

Participants chanted slogans against the constant crimes of the Israeli occupation and called for national unity.
